Pinkalicious!

A couple weeks ago we celebrated Allison's fifth birthday with a Pinkalicious themed party.  The house was decorated pink and we had pink food, pink crafts, pink nail polish and pink pictures.  I hope that all the little girls who came had fun!  Allison seemed to soak up every second and hopefully she will remember all the fun she had and how much time and effort she spent on her crafts!
The princess of pink insisted on wearing a true to character "Pinkalicious" outfit.  So Daddy special ordered her outfit and she looked just like the character in the book.

My good friend Tiffany made the cupcakes to match the "pink, pink, pink" ones in the book and we had an assortment of pink food including sugar cookies, pink popcorn and chocolate covered strawberries.  I am surprised we did not all turn pink after the party!
Allison was ushered in by her Daddy and Uncle Cory for the reading of "Pinkalicious" and she had the best seat in the house.  You can tell by her face that she loves the attention!
I read the book to a captive audience.  There was not a peep from the pink peanut gallery as I read.
Many thanks to our sweet guests looking their best in their pink outfits!  They were all so fabulous!

It was great being pink!  Now what do do with all the pink decorations?

  2. I love it!! Check out my friend's blog. Her little girl did a book fair project on this book and ended up winning 1st place in the state for kindergarten! :-)
